This day should always be a holiday....if not how bout' a 2 hr delay. That's what the kids get when there's absolutely no snow on the ground and the forecast is sunny and 60 in February. That should make all of us say WTF? So do justice for yourself and make this happen, for you deserve it like the rest of us. I know it puts a smile on my face.......at least for a minute or two......lmao.
I'm on like 5 meds, so I'm hoping it does the trick to push the nasty out of my system. This gunk is def going around as I know plenty of peeps who have been in the same situation this winter. And imagine that, it really hasn't been that cold. It has been what they seem to call a "mild winter". That terminology is going to make our March a cold one. Watch and see. So prepare yourself for the funk with all the temperature changes we've had. 70 tomorrow then 40 on the weekend. Thanx a lot Mama Nature. We love you too!
You know with the terrible non-snow weather, I haven't even had the chance to head to a mountain to shred the gnar. I'm sure as hell not going to our local mountain as it is just as expensive as Snowshoe for only like 10 trails w/ dirt patches. You would think they would lower their rates to accomodate more riding, but that makes too much sense. Once again, if you can't make good business decisions let someone else do the job you do, better.
Caps' at it again this evening after getting their asses handed to them the other night 5-0. I know Nicki Backstrom is out but Mike Green came back and didn't do a lick. How come we go from being a team that was winning divisions to a 3rd place team in a weak ass division? We still have the great 8. Do you think he will show up anytime soon? I hope so. Another losing team in Washington. I guess we should be use to this by now. Rock the RED!
How come we always go, where did the weekend go? Because we should have 3 day weekends all the time. I would work 10 hr days for 4 days to get that. I'm sure you would too. That way we would ensure that we would have 2 days of doing nothing to recooperate for the upcoming week. Feel me, read me, get it, got it.......good. At least it makes sense, even though it will never happen. For federal workers, some get that option......why doesn't the private sector? With more productivity and quality, you get better results. That's why people who make the decisions probably should outsource that too, huh? Even research has said that a 20 minute nap during the day makes people better at there jobs. What happened to using research for your benefit? Isn't that a waste of time and resources if you never use them to make your business better. Is that because certain people aren't good at their jobs? Maybe, maybe not........If you can get thru today without any chaos your week is better than one's before. So let's hope for that.
Jeremy Lin and the Knicks got back to their winning ways beating the defending NBA champs yesterday. He had a huge game w/ 28 pts and 14 assists. The 8 turnovers were a bit much, but when you get the win, that should get overlooked every time! The Caps' poo-ed the bed Saturday evening. Yes, it was on the road and yes they only lossed 2-1 but when the other team scores more goals than you, you lose. Sick Madden-ism, right? Of the sixteen teams playing on Saturday evening, only 2 teams scored no goals. Offense bleak, defense shaddy.......Dale Hunter better get his head out of his keister or he may be gone too.
Baseball is back! Pitchers and catchers reported yesterday.......I can smell the grass now! Love this time of the year. I gots the Spring Fever.
Ahhhh, the dreaded day of love. But why aren't the other 364? If you think, believe, or are in love you should be treating you and yours like gold all day, every day. This is a ploy for big business to drain more loot out of the struggling public. It's said that people spend over $100 for their love of their life? I guess if you got it, you got it. I'm sure for a woman it's a lot different than their counterpart. It's a day of chocolate and flowers, but aren't those so cliche? Not so original and not so loving, in these eyes. What about a show, a hike, a massage, a cuddle session(I said it), a kick ass homemade dinner, something that shows you aren't the average joe? After all, it's just another day. We've become lazy and uncreative........and that blows. Think outside the box and make that love of yours pee their pants from laughing. That's what all of us need in this time of dispair. At last after another long week of the sickness.......it's time to do nothing, and little bit more of nothing! Still not up to full throttle but at least feeling better. I know this evil is going around, so preventive maintanence is the best solution to not end up with a couple of weeks of misery. Vitamin C, herbal teas, eating healthy, lots of liquor....whatever you do to not end up like a zombie.
The 1st weekend without football is here. Ready....suck! Now only 6 more months of it. What will you do on Sundays, now? More church right.........probably not. It doesn't mean you have to stop the wings and beer, I know I'm not. That's a ritual, damn it. At least you have soccer? What......Baseball is right around the corner if that's your thing. I can't wait. You may call it boring, but the strategy involved in the game is more intriging than a lot of other major sports. If you don't know, now you know. The Caps' are playing like they don't want to be in the playoffs and injuries are apart of the game. The defense is lackluster and George McPhee is the culprit. Thank the man that our youngsters are stepping up and Wideman's playing lights out. All we can do is hope, right? The Wizards are a joke......Ted better get his head out of his arse and draft good players that aren't ego-maniacs if we're hoping for a turn around in the next couple of years. Nothing more to say about that dreaded franchise......should remind you of the Foreskins. Don't get me wrong, my folks, lots of buddies are huge fans' but Daniel Snyder is the worst owner in the history of every major sport. I see Shanahan getting fired sooner than later. What about Bruce Allen? Hurry up and wait for a good team. Do you think Peyton will land in DC? If they don't improve their line and get some deep threats, he's going to end up on his back and repaired shoulder, more often than not. All we can say, is we'll see.

It's almost over, rock soldiers.......Ahhhh....the bowl of Super, let's see: Just a point I have to make: Madonna is a 53 year old cougar, I get it, she’s still pretty damn delicious. Her performance was hideous and hilarious! Lip synching all but maybe 10 words. Believe it or not in HD, you can hear the difference when someone is singing or not. The production on it was pretty dope but her music will never fit w/ football nor will any other non-rock format. When will it be kick ass rock that you hear under Sportscenter footage, all the time, day after day? They tried older rock bands that lame it up too……..Go with what fits! How come common sense never seems to work amongst the top of the hierarchy, decision-makers, etc.? Quoting the ESPN NFL Analysts, C’mon, MAN!
The Caps need a defenseman since the debacle loss to the Stanley Cup Champion Bruins yesterday. I never thought I would say this but we need Mike "Fancy Pants" Green back. He's only played in 10 games this year. WTF?

That's what I have to tell myself when I feel like I do. Holy snot rockets, fat man! Getting ready for the Super Bowl this weekend? I actually enjoy the game because I enjoy football. The ads just get in the way. Now for some of you, you may just watch it for the ads but some of them SUCK. So a waste of beloved football time. These companies spend all this money for 60 seconds of suckiness. Don't get me wrong, some of them rock. But some on Sunday will have been leaked as I have seen a number of them already, so why leak them, isn't the whole point "the element of surprise"? So feed the face with lots of calorie ridden goods to make the wasteline expand.......for me, wings and beer. It doesn't get any better than that!
